Answer to Nony: I tried to answer you before...but somehow it never posted..must have done something wrong. So I still wanted to answer you...and I think you now may attend with us..but the Ancient Feasts are To honor The Ancient of Days, G-d or in Hebrew Yahweh; or Adonai. Well, He has many names..which include Jesus or in Hebrew Yeshua Ha' Mashiach... Jesus, The Messiah is the translation. I've been a believer in our Savior Yeshua Ha' Mashiach for many years...but G-d blessed me to make a visit to Sar Shalom in early 2006..and when I walked in the doors to the Shabbat service (which met in my home church at that time... and it was the only time Sar Shalom met in the large sanctuary of that body of believers as the congregation was small maybe numbering 30 to 40 believers, I heard the voice of G-d audibly speak to me like never before...(You are going to Israel!)..I had always wanted to go but only the L-rd knew of my desire and I had mad no plans to try to get there...I was in Israel in about 8 months with a Messianic tour group that numbered 18 people including the Messianic Rabbi and his wife...My Hebraic learning started at that 1st Shabbat service (Sabbath Worship and Teaching)and continues to this day...as our Savior, Yeshua (Praise His Name) was and is Hebrew and lived His life here on earth in that tradition..so if I am to follow Him and learn lessons from Him...it follows that I need to experience as much of who He was and is as possible and become the best that I can be In Him....Celebrating the ancient biblical feasts is a tremendous privilege and blessing...May the G-d of Abraham bless you and yours richly.. In Him, Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Linet

Undoubtedly there are lots of positive reasons for Christians to celebrate the Festivals. But on a personal basis, this is my greatest reason. The revelation to me that festivals are/will be fulfilled in the Messiah gave me reason to celebrate Him through these glorious celebrations. As who He is-is revealed more and more to me through the celebrations, I love Him more. So beyond the oft debated topic of "must we as Christians celebrate the festivals"--I find the festivals are a way of gaining more knowledge of our Messiah, therefore they can bring us closer to Him and in that I delight.

I am asking all to pray for Sam Bish. He's a little boy(9) who is battling cancer. He had his leg amputated last week. His Grandmother is a friend of the congregation. Please lift him up...Todah. R.Wm
